Four decades. Four families. One standard.
When a group of California tomato farmers founded Ingomar in 1983, they set out to do something no one had done before — build a processor owned by the very growers who tend the fields. It made us the first strictly industrial tomato processor in the state, and it changed what "quality" could mean.
Today those roots run deeper than ever. Our grower-partners still personally oversee the cultivation of the majority of the tomatoes we process, from seed selection to the moment the fruit reaches our two Los Banos facilities. That unbroken line of accountability — field to jar — is why chefs, canneries, and food brands around the world trust the Ingomar name.
